Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use OptiLeads we collect the following information:

Information you provide directly

  • Account information: Email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
  • Phone number: Required for the Daily SMS Leads subscription. Used only to deliver your daily leads via SMS.
  • Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
  • Preferences: Industries you want to receive leads for, your preferred delivery time, and timezone.

Information collected automatically

  • Which leads you view and purchase (used to ensure you never receive duplicate leads)
  • SMS delivery status and logs (for troubleshooting)
  • Basic usage data (pages visited, login times)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe
  • To deliver your daily lead notifications via SMS at your chosen time
  • To personalize which leads you receive based on your industry preferences
  • To track which leads you have already received so we never send duplicates
  • To send service-related communications (subscription confirmations, cancellation notices)
  • To improve the accuracy and relevance of our lead database

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not share your phone number with third parties except as described in Section 4.

3. SMS Communications

If you subscribe to our Daily SMS Leads service, you consent to receive automated recurring text messages from OptiLeads. By providing your phone number you agree to our SMS Terms as described in our Terms of Service.

We use TextBelt to deliver SMS messages. TextBelt receives your phone number and the message content for the purpose of delivery. TextBelt does not use your phone number for any other purpose.

To stop receiving SMS messages: Reply STOP to any message. You can also cancel your subscription from optileads.dev/dashboard/subscriptions.

We maintain logs of SMS sends (phone number, status, timestamp) for up to 90 days for troubleshooting purposes.

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only with the following trusted service providers, and only as necessary to operate the service:

Stripe

Payment processing. Handles all billing and subscription management. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Supabase

Database and authentication. Stores your account data, preferences, and lead history. Data is stored in the United States. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.

TextBelt

SMS delivery. Receives your phone number and message content for the purpose of sending your daily leads text. Subject to TextBelt's Terms of Service.

Vercel

Hosting and infrastructure. Processes web requests. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of OptiLeads or others.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.
  • SMS logs: Retained for 90 days then automatically deleted.
  • Lead purchase history: Retained for the life of your account to prevent duplicate lead delivery.
  • Payment records: Retained as required by law and Stripe's policies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Update your phone number and account information through your dashboard settings at optileads.dev/dashboard/settings
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@optileads.dev
  • Opt out of SMS: Reply STOP to any text message at any time
  • Cancel subscription: At any time through optileads.dev/dashboard/subscriptions

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information including encrypted data storage, hashed passwords, and HTTPS on all connections. No internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

OptiLeads is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us their information, contact us at support@optileads.dev and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy at optileads.dev/privacy and updating the "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
